Caron Award of Excellence Celebration on Wednesday, May 1st at The DoubleTree by Hilton as we celebrate the power of transformation. Funds raised at this event will provide life-transforming treatment scholarships, programmatic support, and clinical advancement furthering Caron’s mission of Recovery for Life.

A Message from our Distinguished Honoree Jim Boscov

This year, I am honored to receive the Richard J. Caron Award of Excellence from Caron Treatment Centers. As this year’s recipient, it’s my mission to help Caron Treatment Centers achieve a goal of raising $1,000,000, and with your help I know we can beat this goal!

Growing up in Berks County, I have the benefit of knowing friends and associates whose lives were saved by Caron. All of us know someone who is suffering from or has suffered from the disease of drug or alcohol addiction. Too many of us know friends or family who have died from the disease. Of all the treatment centers and “rehab” programs available, Caron Treatment Center has, by far, the best results for long-term recovery. I’d like to tell you some of the reasons I support Caron and why I’m asking you to join me.

While their achievements are many, a few I found most outstanding are:

• Caron offers over $5 million in “scholarships” annually to help those suffering from the disease of addiction who can’t afford effective treatment.
• Caron offers residential treatment programs that are tailored to the needs and lifestyles of the individual – separate programs for young adults, executives, healthcare professionals, etc. have made it possible for patients to enter and remain in treatment.
• But mostly because treatment at Caron works. Caron achieves a 92.4% rate of recovery at 90 Days after treatment – far better results than other treatment programs.

Based in Berks County for nearly 70 years, Caron is an internationally recognized nonprofit dedicated to addiction and behavioral healthcare treatment and research. Today, with residential treatment centers in Pennsylvania and Florida, plus outpatient centers along the east coast, they succeed in transforming the lives of individuals and families impacted by addiction and substance use disorder through comprehensive patient-centered treatment plans. Their team of physicians, psychologists, therapists, and other professionals provide patients and their families with compassion and respect and strive to ease the pain of addiction by restoring health, hope and relationships.

Caron Treatment Centers lives by the vision that “Recovery is not only possible, it’s probable.” With your help, raising $1,000,000 this year is not only possible, it’s probable.
