Whitney Emmert-Bush

She connects people who need substance use and mental health treatment and their families to treatment resources, information, and help. She also creates awareness of available resources by reaching out to therapists, medical and health care professionals, businesses, and organizations.

Whitney guides individuals and family members through the treatment process, from supporting them through admissions to helping them find appropriate recovery resources as they prepare to leave treatment. To see people enter recovery and discover their abilities to connect, restore, and strengthen critical relationships and enjoy their lives again makes her work worthwhile.

Before coming to Caron in 2023, Whitney worked in the substance and mental health treatment field, most recently as regional director of clinical partnerships for a treatment center and, prior to that, as business development coordinator for another treatment facility, both in Florida. That experience gave her a solid understanding of the needs that individuals and their families have as well as the resources that can help therapists, health care providers, and others identify high-quality treatment options.

Whitney was an elementary education teacher at a charter school for three years, giving her an understanding of the importance of supportive, empathetic listening.

She has a Bachelor of Arts in history from Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana.
