Ronnie Espinal

He brings 25 years of nursing and health care leadership experience to the role, which he took on in 2022. In addition to his administrative experience, his specialties are in acute care and behavioral health nursing.

He oversees all of the Keele Center’s nursing operations. His goal is to ensure effective, safe health care for all patients and create a nursing culture founded on expertise, compassion, and accountability. He advocates for and motivates his staff to provide individualized, high-quality, empathetic care for every patient, seeing each patient as a person in need of help and attention.

Ronnie’s considerable experience in the field includes leadership positions at several medical facilities in the Miami area. Most recently, he was chief nursing officer for Jackson Health System for the Corrections Health Division. Prior to that role, he was director of patient care services. He has many years of experience as a registered nurse at various facilities, including charge nurse, transplant nurse, and discharge planning nurse at the University of Miami Hospital Clinics-Sylvester.

Ronnie has a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Broward College, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and a Master of Business Administration in healthcare administration from Western Governors University, Salt Lake City, Utah.
