Michael Evans is a Primary Therapist, providing individual and group therapy for Caron Renaissance patients, with the goal of giving them the foundation and tools they need for a successful post-treatment life.
He relies on a variety of proven therapies to help his patients uncover the core issues that block them from a healthy recovery and build resilience.
Michael worked in the field of addiction and substance use for eight years before coming to Caron in 2021. His experience includes working as a primary therapist with patients with acute mental health disorders and as a group therapist working with patients with substance use and mental health disorders. He was also a case manager for several years at a residential treatment center.
He is currently a registered clinical social work intern working towards licensure. He received both his Bachelor and Master of Social Work degrees from Florida Atlantic University.
With the collaborative approach that Caron Renaissance takes to treatment and my therapeutic experience, I am able to adapt my approach to whatever it is that my clients need.”
