Christina Phillips Ramos

Christina (Chrissie) Phillips Ramos serves as the vice president of regional advancement, supporting Caron’s fundraising and board development efforts in partnership with Caron's regional vice presidents and advisory boards.

Prior to this role, Chrissie served as Caron’s regional vice president of Greater Philadelphia, helping to raise over $10 million in the greater Philadelphia region during her tenure.

Chrissie is a nonprofit professional with over 20 years of experience in fundraising, donor relations, program development and management, event planning, and volunteer coordination. Before joining Caron in 2020, she served as the director of corporate and foundation relations at Saint Joseph’s University, fundraising for the University’s signature programs and strategic initiatives. From 2010 to 2016, she served as the associate director of foundation relations at La Salle University, where she worked most notably within the University’s School of Nursing and Health Sciences on large-scale government grants.

Earlier in her career, Chrissie led fundraising efforts at the Community Women’s Education Project (CWEP), a women’s literacy agency in the Kensington section of Philadelphia. Chrissie began her commitment to mission-driven work through her year of service in the Jesuit Volunteer Corps in Mesa, Arizona, which led her to three years of work on the U.S./Mexico border at Via International, where she directed a cross-cultural community development program.

Chrissie earned her Bachelor of Arts in political science from Saint Joseph’s University, Philadelphia, and Master of Arts with a certification in teaching English as a second language (TESOL) from La Salle University, Philadelphia.
