Anna Green

Anna Green serves as the Clinical Supervisor for both the Caron Florida Mental Health Program and the Older Adult Program. In her role, she supports program development, oversees operations, and leads the program’s clinical team, ensuring the delivery of top-quality patient care.

Anna joined Caron in 2022, bringing with her a wealth of experience. Previously, she served as Assistant Clinical Director at an addiction treatment center in Northern California. With over eight years of experience as a psychotherapist, Anna has worked in education, addiction, palliative care, and mental health. Before relocating to the United States from the United Kingdom, she worked in an adult mental health inpatient hospital, specializing in the care of patients with psychotic disorders and borderline personality disorder.

Anna holds a Master of Arts in Art Therapy from the University of Hertfordshire and a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art from Nottingham Trent University, both in the United Kingdom. She also earned a Postgraduate Certificate in Mental Health Counselling from National Louis University. Anna is a licensed mental health counselor and qualified MBT therapist, trained at the Anna Freud National Center for Children and Families. Additionally, she contributed a chapter titled “Group and individual art therapy with a sexually inappropriate patient in an NHS low-secure unit” for the book Arts Therapies and Sexual Offending, published in the United Kingdom in 2021.
