February

  • Alumni and Family Reunion – Join fellow alumni, family and friends, along with the Caron New York staff, for an afternoon of fun and fellowship. Reconnect with friends, enjoy music and share in stories of recovery. This event is traditionally held at the Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church in New York City.

March

  • Music Matters – Music, addiction awareness and advocacy, and raising money for treatment scholarships for musicians, are the goals for this exciting event hosted by Music Matters and Caron New York. This event, an annual tradition since 2009, features Miles Rubin, a Caron New York board member and drummer for Hip Pocket and The Velcrows, and is held at the world-renowned Cutting Room – 44 E. 32nd Street, New York City.

May

  • New York Gala – Be a part of our mission by joining us for our annual Gala. The event, held at the prestigious Cipriani 42nd Street, has raised funds towards the $10 million in treatment scholarships granted to addicted individuals and their families that have limited resources. This special event features a live and silent auction, special musical performances, and honors a community leader with the Richard J. Caron Award of Excellence.

September

  • Gregg’s Gift Comedy Night – Join us for a sober night of laughs, delicious food, and hilarious stand-up comedy performances! This event is hosted in partnership with Gregg’s Gift, a non-profit organization dedicated to positively impacting the lives of addicted young adults, their families, friends, and our community at-large. Their mission is to raise money to provide financial assistance for the treatment and recovery of young adults who suffer from the disease of addiction and to heighten community awareness of the severity and complexity of addiction and raises funds for the Gregg R. Grossman Scholarship for Caron New York.

October

  • Unsung Hero Community Awards Breakfast in Manhattan – This event, hosted by Mutual of America on the 35th Floor of their beautiful New York location, honors award recipients for their contribution to recovery advocacy. It is attended by vital members of the recovery industry.

December

  • Cooking for Caron – Cooking for Caron, an annual event dedicated to raising Teen Scholarship Program funds, features premier restaurants and chefs. These have included Amit’s Bread, The Cake Box, Norm Bloom and Son, Bobby Q’s, A Dash of Salt, Romanacci, and more! All proceeds from this event will support Caron Family and Alumni workshops and programs in southwestern CT.

  • Chanukah Party – Join Rabbi Lipsker and the recovery community for a sober holiday celebration. This event is held at Caron’s New York Regional Recovery Center.

Quarterly

  • Chapel casts – Do you need a boost for your spiritual journey of recovery? Don’t miss the quarterly live feed of the Pennsylvania Chapel Service. Together we will share in the fellowship of the service and the support of others in our community.

  • FEP (Family Education Program) – Workshops featuring educational lectures on a variety of topics are held at the Caron New York Regional Recovery Center. Each event provides a safe, caring place for families to learn how to help themselves and their loved one navigate through recovery.
