VIEWS Vaping Diversion Program

The VIEWS experience encourages youth to avoid, reduce, or quit their use of vaping products and make responsible and healthy decisions. It can be used as an alternative to school suspension.

Do you know a teen who would benefit from the VIEWS program? The VIEWS experience encourages youth to avoid, reduce, or quit their use of vaping products and make responsible and healthy decisions. It can be used as an alternative to school suspension.

This program is structured in a single session, interactive and exciting format for all learning styles. The VIEWS program may meet the needs of students requiring an educational component for re-entry to school after a vaping violation.

Vaping among youth has reached epidemic levels. Caron’s Vaping Intervention, Education & Wellness for Students (VIEWS) Diversion Program helps students address their vaping use through discussion, role-playing and skill-building activities.

  • Learn about the impact that substances have on a developing brain
  • Identify risky behaviors and the benefits of avoiding those behaviors
  • Recognize their ability to make responsible decisions
  • Demonstrate an increased level of self-efficacy, self-awareness, social awareness, and relationship skills

Presenters:

  • Kelley Lyons, MA – Caron Treatment Centers Coordinator of Student Assistance Programs
  • Latisha Faulkner – Caron Treatment Centers Lead SAP Specialist
