The cost of addiction for a family is more than just a financial one. The disease of substance use disorder destroys lives and relationships. Families will try to protect, help and care for their loved ones. As this continues, families develop unhealthy behavioral patterns that impact their lives, relationships, and wellbeing. These reactions can contribute to the progression of the disease. How do we know how to support our loved ones without paying the price for their consequences?

In this presentation we will discuss the impact of addiction on the family and the individual. We will process what reactions can be detrimental to the healing process. How do you HELP an addict without contributing to the problem? How do we stop paying the price for addiction and start investing in recovery?

Please do not let finances prohibit your attendance. Contact Trudy Avery at (617) 895-9656 or for information regarding workshop scholarships.
