Celebrating Family Transformation through the Journey of Recovery

Join us for an inspiring evening of community and hope as we celebrate families of all kinds in the Caron DC community. The 14th Annual DC Gala is the premier fundraising event supporting Caron Treatment Centers in the Greater DC area. Your participation helps provide treatment scholarships for individuals who couldn’t otherwise afford care and supports vital Caron programs—like alumni services, family education, and spiritual care. Together, we can ensure that families throughout the DC region have access to lifesaving treatment and lasting recovery support.

Our 2025 Gala Award Recipients

The Richard J. Caron Award of Excellence, named in honor of our late founder, is presented as a tribute to an individual or couple, who, in the estimation of Caron’s Board of Trustees, demonstrates the same spirit of caring and compassion that was exemplified by Dick Caron.

Honoring Roger Hoff

A dedicated Caron alumnus, respected local referent, and member of the DC Regional Advisory Board, Roger Hoff has helped countless individuals, and their families find their path to recovery. His advocacy, compassion, and leadership embody the spirit of Caron’s mission and the legacy of Dick Caron, for whom this award is named.

The Partner in Recovery Award was established to recognize and celebrate an individual or group who has given of their time and talent to help Caron advocate and promote recovery.

Honoring the Caron DC Family Groups

Across the DMV area, the Caron DC Family Groups are a powerful example of Caron’s mission in action. These groups offer mutual support, time, and deep commitment. Caron DC families sustain each other in recovery and build strong, healing relationships that can transformative.
