Participants may choose to take individual courses or complete the entire series, each offering practical strategies, current research, and hands-on tools. These trainings equip professional to address the evolving needs of students and create healthy, supportive environments where young people can truly thrive.

Insight to Impact: A Toolbox for Navigating Teen Substance Use
Substance use trends among youth—like slang, popular drugs, and concealment methods—are constantly evolving. This program updates participants on current trends, warning signs, and prevention strategies, helping them identify and support students who may need help.

Foundations of Youth Behavioral Health: Influences, Development, and Strategies for Support
Mental health challenges affect one in five youth, often beginning by age 14 and impacting learning and overall well-being. This program helps participants recognize risk factors, understand child development, and explore the effects of stress, trauma, and Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) on young people’s emotional and physical health.
MODULE OBJECTIVES:

Family Engagement: A Strengths-Based Approach
Parents and caregivers play a vital role in a child’s success and engaging them can strengthen our efforts to support youth. This presentation offers practical strategies to overcome common barriers and use strengths-based approaches to connect with families.
MODULE OBJECTIVES:

Define the Stages of Change and understand how they factor into a parent’s motivation towards engagement.

Identify common barriers experienced when working with parents/caregivers and learn strategies for removing them.

List tips for finding and tapping into each family’s strengths.

Describe the elements of the successful and culturally competent communications needed in stressful situations and the role empathy plays in parent/caregiver decision making.
Resiliency in Youth: the Art of Bouncing Back
This interactive session introduces strength-based strategies for building resilience in youth. Participants will explore the 40 Developmental Assets and the Developmental Relationship Framework from The Search Institute to strengthen their relationships with young people in intentional, impactful ways.
