Partnering with SAP presentations are 45- 90 minutes and designed to educate school personnel on the SAP team’s role and highlight the ways in which SAP can aid students who face barriers to education or personal success. Presentations are customized to each school, but typically cover:
- An overview of the purpose and role of a school’s SAP program.
- How to recognize behaviors that warrant a referral and how the referral process works.
- Current teen drug and alcohol trends.
- The staff’s responsibility to report concerns.
