Tim Muir is a Behavioral Health Therapist for the Men's Relapse Program at Caron Pennsylvania.

In that role, he provides individual and family therapy and case management, facilitates group therapy, and gives educational lectures. Tim is a collaborative member of the interdisciplinary team providing excellence in addiction services.

Tim has been an active member of the recovery community since 2004. He began his career at Caron in 2007. He has advocated for patients in many roles, beginning as a Counselor Assistant and moving into the role of Behavioral Health Therapist for adult treatment. He has a strong skill set in motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, rational emotive therapy, and experience with cultural diversity, which lends itself to effectively treating and supporting all individuals seeking addiction and behavioral health treatment.

Tim holds a bachelor’s degree in addiction studies from Alvernia University, as well as credentials through the state of Pennsylvania. His experience and training has allowed Tim to work successfully with many individuals struggling with chemical dependency and co-occurring disorders.
