As Interim President and CEO of Caron Treatment Centers, Steve Wall leads the organization with a steadfast commitment to its mission of transforming lives impacted by substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. Serving as Caron’s primary spokesperson and advocate, Steve embodies the organization’s core values and dedication to advancing recovery.
For over 14 years Steve, a partner in the international law firm of Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, has served Caron as a longtime member of the Board of Trustees, former Chair of the Board, and a grateful Caron alumnus. Steve currently is a global Managing Partner of Morgan Lewis, where he serves an organization of over 4,000 lawyers and professional staff. His four decades of legal practice and executive leadership experience, strategic judgment, and deep understanding of Caron position him exceptionally well to guide the organization and its people on an interim basis.
As a sober man in long-term recovery, Steve is committed to advancing Caron as the leading addiction treatment and mental health provider of residential, HIOP, IOP, and medication assisted treatment, and, through community, employer, and governmental engagement and education, reducing the stigma surrounding substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders and addictions. Steve has been a driving force for many years in improving the financial sustainability of Caron through philanthropy.
Steve holds an undergraduate degree from the School of Industrial and Labor Relations at Cornell University (1978) and a juris doctorate from Cornell Law School at Cornell University (1983).
