Michele Lutz serves as the Director of Communications and Public Relations at Caron Treatment Centers, where she leads the organization’s communications strategy, public and media relations, and executive visibility efforts. With a focus on advancing Caron’s mission, Michele develops impactful messaging, oversees media outreach and crisis response, and collaborates closely with Caron’s leadership team to shape and amplify the organization’s brand voice.

Michele brings a unique blend of strategic thinking, storytelling expertise, and cross-sector experience to her role. Her career spans corporate boardrooms, global agencies, and mission-driven nonprofits, equipping her with the ability to distill complex information into compelling narratives that resonate with diverse audiences, including media, donors, clinical partners, and stakeholders.

Before joining Caron in August 2022, Michele held leadership roles at multinational agencies such as Saatchi & Saatchi and Young & Rubicam, as well as in media and entertainment organizations like Universal Music Group and The Wall Street Journal. She also worked with nonprofits on strategic communications, branding, and stakeholder engagement. This diverse background enables Michele to craft messages that build trust, inspire action, and protect reputations—even in high-pressure situations.

Michele is deeply committed to Caron’s mission of addressing addiction, one of the most urgent public health challenges of our time. She is honored to use her skills to remove barriers to treatment, elevate expert voices, and promote awareness of solutions that transform lives.

Michele holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in Economics from Rutgers University.
