McKenzie Himes
Neurotherapy Technician
Florida

McKenzie is a neurotherapy technician at Caron’s Florida campus. In her role, she serves as the primary point of contact for patients beginning and progressing through neurotherapy services.

McKenzie conducts brain mapping assessments and neurofeedback sessions to acquire high-quality EEG data, which guides the creation of personalized treatment plans. She also implements these plans through individualized neurofeedback sessions and Alpha-Stim treatments, contributing to an integrative, data-driven approach to patient care.

Her background is rooted in neuroscience, high-throughput research, and community-based service, aligning with Caron’s integrated, whole-person approach to care. Before joining Caron, McKenzie worked at Eikon Therapeutics, a biotech company in Silicon Valley. There, she supported large-scale discovery programs, strengthening her skills in data-driven analysis and cross-disciplinary collaboration. This experience, combined with her commitment to person-centered care, allows her to support patients with evidence-based neurotherapeutic treatments.

McKenzie graduated magna cum laude from Santa Clara University with a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and a minor in Biology. She is also certified in Alpha-Stim cranial electrotherapy stimulation.
