Maggie Giovanni

Being able to assist patients and families struggling to find resources for treatment in finding the right facility and other resources that put them on the road to recovery gives her immense satisfaction. She also educates patients, families, and referents about treatment options and ethical and evidence-based providers.

Maggie consults with Caron clinical staff on admissions and works with the clinical team to find appropriate post-treatment recovery options and resources. She collaborates with clinical professionals in New Jersey to widen access to appropriate care for substance use disorders and offers information about Caron’s programs, resources, and clinical expertise.

She has almost 25 years in the behavioral health field, primarily working with mental health and substance use disorder treatment facilities to market their programs. That substantial experience has given Maggie a depth and range of knowledge about substance use disorder and mental health generally as well as specific resources available in her region.

Maggie has a Master of Arts in forensic psychology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice, New York City, and a Bachelor of Science from the College of New Jersey, Ewing Township.
