Louise Hulshizer

As recovery advocate supervisor, Louise Hulshizer oversees a team of recovery advocates and lead recovery advocates. As part of that team, she works to ensure that patients receive excellent care and support.

She plays a critical role in supporting the growth and development of the recovery advocates and lead recovery advocates, a role that is integral to the quality of care patients receive. Louise keeps that goal front and center, knowing Caron's capacity to change lives for the better.

In addition, she analyzes policy, procedures, training, and budgets so that day-to-day operations run smoothly. Louise also assists Caron’s rabbi in coordinating specialty services and experiences for Caron’s Jewish patients.

Louise relies on interpersonal skills, an eye for detail, and personal experience to create a welcoming environment for patients and a supportive work environment for her team.

Louise has been with Caron since 2002 and has had various roles during her tenure, including intake, counselor’s assistant, lead counselor’s assistant, counselor’s assistant administrator, lead behavioral health technician administrator and supervisor of clinical administration.

Louise is a certified allied addiction practitioner (CAAP).
