Lori Myers

Lori Myers is a dedicated therapist in Caron’s Young Adult Program, where she provides individual therapy, group therapy, and psychoeducation to support young adults on their journey to recovery. With a compassionate and personalized approach, Lori creates a safe and supportive environment that fosters trust, engagement, and meaningful growth.

Lori’s career at Caron began in 2021, where she initially served as a recovery advocate, guiding individuals through the early stages of addiction recovery. She later transitioned to her current role, bringing with her a wealth of experience as a behavioral health associate in the addiction field. These roles have equipped her with a deep understanding of the challenges individuals face at various stages of recovery, enriching her empathy and enhancing her therapeutic practice.

Lori holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a focus on Addiction from Purdue University, graduating magna cum laude. She is currently pursuing a clinical mental health counseling degree with a licensure track at Messiah University. Additionally, she is a Certified Allied Addiction Practitioner (CAAP), underscoring her commitment to professional excellence and evidence-based care.

What Lori finds most rewarding about her work is witnessing the resilience and transformation of the young adults she supports. She is inspired daily by their growth and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in their lives.
