Kenneth Lanning

By leveraging his years of experience in the field, access to Caron's clinical experts, and knowledge of national professional resources, he works with them to design comprehensive, individualized plans of care. He also connects them to Caron’s specialized treatment options and clinical experts, provides tours of Caron facilities, and offers consultations about programs and services.

As a Caron alum and grateful member of the recovery community himself, he seeks to provide others with the same life-changing help he received. His passion for giving back is backed by his considerable experience working in the addiction treatment field.

Kenneth has been with Caron since 2014, most recently as the Regional Alumni and Family Coordinator for the Caron New York City Recovery Center. In this role, he oversaw the regional support groups and fellowship programs for alumni and families residing across New York City, Long Island, northern New Jersey and Connecticut and actively engaged these groups by planning sober events, workshops, and other activities. Kenneth stays closely connected to the network he built in order to further assist professionals, prospective patients, and families.

Kenneth also worked as an Inpatient Resource Specialist in the Finance Department, a role in which he gained specialized knowledge of insurance options. He began his career at Caron in the Young Adult Male Program as a Counselor Assistant.

Prior to joining Caron, Kenneth worked in the New York City financial district for over 10 years. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration.
