Karen Moser

As a behavioral health therapist, Karen Moser provides individualized treatment services, facilitates group therapy, and offers psychoeducation for young adult men in primary care at Caron. She also connects with and supports patients’ families.

Karen has 15 years of experience as a therapist for children, youth, and families in residential care and in supervisory and administrative clinical roles. She worked at Caron in the Student Assistance Program as a student assistance specialist and a higher education specialist from 2008 to 2015 and returned to Caron in her current role in 2020. Karen also served as the executive director of a nonprofit educational foundation for five years.

She is a certified advanced alcohol and drug counselor with a Master of Arts in counseling psychology from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania and a certificate in trauma-informed care from Jefferson University, Philadelphia. Karen received a Bachelor of Arts in criminal justice and English from LaSalle University, Philadelphia.
