Julie serves as the regional vice president of Greater Philadelphia, which includes the five southeastern Philadelphia counties, southern New Jersey, and the state of Delaware. In this role, she is responsible for advancing Caron’s fundraising efforts in the region, including leadership and coordination of the annual Philadelphia Gala, as well as the management and growth of the Greater Philadelphia Regional Advisory Board.

Previous to this position, Julie was the director of special events and stewardship and was responsible for increasing awareness and leading engagement initiatives among key supporters. She oversaw donor prospect research, major gift prospect management, and development support materials, including the annual report and cases for support. With her strong background in business development, she managed all major business development events and continuing education programs.

During her time at Caron, Julie also held several positions in business development, including corporate director of sales and advertising strategy, senior regional resource director, and regional resource director. She managed teams in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C. Julie assisted referents, patients, and families with admissions, and consulted with them to determine the best services for their situation.

She began her career at Caron as a business development officer in 2015. Before coming to Caron, she worked in similar roles with other treatment centers, amassing experience and skills in marketing, patient services and support, and admissions. She has worked closely with referents, patients, and families since 2011. Julie is a certified allied addiction practitioner (CAAP) and has a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, and finance from Salisbury University, Salisbury, Maryland.
