John Reese
Behavioral Health Therapist
MA, BA
Pennsylvania

As a therapist working with adult men, John Reese provides individual and group therapy as well as psychoeducation. He also supports family members with education and resources for self care and healthy family functioning.

He uses a person-centered approach focused on building trust. By providing patients with space to be vulnerable, they can honestly examine their histories and what led them to addiction to begin building a foundation for healthy recovery.

John came to Caron in 2010 as a behavioral health technician and was then promoted to clinical behavioral health technician. He took on his current role in 2021. Before coming to Caron, he worked in the social services field, working with clients and patients of every age and disparate cultural and socio-economic backgrounds.

He has a Master of Arts in clinical counseling from Alvernia University, Reading, Pennsylvania, and a Bachelor of Arts in addiction studies, also from Alvernia.
