John Guthridge

John Guthridge supports and offers information, resources, and services to Caron alumni and families in Pennsylvania. He helps them stay connected with other alumni and families and engaged in active recovery. John draws on his own treatment and recovery experiences to offer hope and encouragement and uses his knowledge of resources to assist them.

Prior to taking on this role in 2025, John was a recovery advocate in the Men’s Program at Caron for 13 years. In that role, he helped patients begin their road to recovery through his assistance and support. He also ensured patient safety and resolved crises.

Before he came to Caron, John provided patient support and assistance at another treatment center for four years.
