Jody Green

As a behavioral health therapist, Jody Green counsels adults, providing individual therapy, working with family members and referents, and offering education on topics related to substance use disorder.

The most rewarding part of her work is being present to support people as they go through treatment and to help families through the process as well.

Jody held a position with the Older Adult Program in 2022, moving to the Relapse Men's Program in 2024. Prior to this work, she was a behavioral health therapist in other adult programs at Caron, counseling men and women in primary, relapse, and extended treatment programs. She came to Caron as a behavioral health technician in 2006, providing support and assistance to patients. This role gave her the opportunity to learn about Caron treatment and addiction from the ground up, building a foundation for the work she does as a therapist.

Before coming to Caron, she worked at a treatment center for incarcerated adults as well as a group home for severely intellectually disabled women and as a house mother in a home for girls.

Jody has a Master of Arts in clinical counseling from Alvernia University, Reading, Pennsylvania, and Bachelor of Arts in social services, also from Alvernia. She is a licensed professional counselor (LPC) and a certified advanced alcohol and drug counselor (CAADC).
