Jackie Perez

Jackie Perez serves as a Regional Resource Director at Caron Treatment Centers, beginning her role on February 2026. In this position, she acts as a bridge between Caron and the community, helping individuals, families, and professionals navigate behavioral health resources—whether care ultimately takes place at Caron or elsewhere. Jackie provides consultation, education, and guidance to appropriate levels of care while building and sustaining trusted relationships with community partners and referral sources.

Jackie brings nearly a decade of professional experience in behavioral health, along with lived experience in long-term recovery. She is known for leading with empathy, listening without judgment, and following through consistently. Her approach is grounded in honesty, responsiveness, and a genuine commitment to helping people find meaningful, sustainable solutions rather than quick answers.

She began her career in 2019 as a Certified Recovery Specialist in hospital settings, supporting individuals during moments of crisis and transition. She was later promoted to Case Manager, where she expanded her work to include care planning, service coordination, and advocacy for individuals with complex needs. Jackie went on to serve as a Care Coordinator and Discharge Planner at an inpatient substance use disorder treatment facility, specializing in seamless transitions to appropriate levels of care. In 2023, she transitioned into an outreach-focused role, emphasizing community engagement, relationship-building, and connection to behavioral health resources.

Jackie’s early work as a Certified Recovery Specialist laid the foundation for her person-centered, solutions-oriented approach. Combined with her lived experience in recovery, this background allows her to connect authentically with individuals and families while skillfully guiding them through complex behavioral health systems.

She holds an associate’s degree in psychology from Delaware County Community College and is working toward the long-term goal of earning a Master’s Degree in Social Work. Jackie is especially passionate about being the last phone call someone has to make when seeking help, understanding how overwhelming that moment can be, and taking pride in making the process feel more supportive, accessible, and humane.
