Edward Martin

Edward Martin has worked in the field of addiction for more than 25 years, currently as a Spiritual Counselor.

In his role, Ed facilitates spirituality groups and grief and loss programming as well as meeting individually with patients to assist them navigate spiritual aspects of their recovery. 

As he guides his patients, Ed helps them overcome shame and develop a renewed sense of hope. The goal of his work is to support his patients in discovering a sense of peace, well-being, and connection.

Before taking on this role in 2025, Ed was lead therapist in the High Intensity Outpatient Program here at Caron. He began his work with Caron in 2012 as a counselor for teen and young adult men, before moving into the Spiritual Care Department, leading chapel services and grief/loss groups, and providing spiritual care counseling while working as a therapist.

He is a certified alcohol and drug counselor with a master’s degree in pastoral care with a focus on crisis intervention.
