Dave Schulze ensures that Caron’s campuses are well maintained for patients, families, and staff. That leadership role includes overseeing maintenance, environmental services, security, transport operations, procurement, and food service.

In addition to supervising employees, Dave manages leases, renovations, and property and building construction, improvements, and repairs. He brings his extensive Caron experience to his work, always keeping the patient experience as his top priority. What makes the job rewarding for Dave is resolving challenges that may affect how patients experience treatment or cause issues in the staff’s ability to provide the best services.

Dave started work at Caron after completing treatment here and is dedicated to ensuring that Caron continues to provide hope and healing for patients. He began working at Caron in 1993 as a counselor’s assistant, then worked in recreation and activities before moving to facilities in 1999. His considerable experience as an employee and as a patient gives him an in-depth understanding of what the campus and its buildings should look and feel like for patients from their arrival to the day they complete treatment.
