David Almeida

In collaboration with the executive director, he sets the direction of Caron Renaissance’s clinical programs. His role encompasses creating new programs that meet patients’ needs and implementing improvements to existing programs to maintain a high standard of excellence. As supervisor of clinical staff, he ensures adherence to Caron Renaissance’s clinical philosophy, fostering a spirit of open communication and initiative. He also engages with patients, families, and referents to strengthen collaborative relationships.

He joined Caron in 2010 as a primary therapist, providing individual and group counseling to clients along with crisis intervention, education, and skills training. Before coming to Caron, David was a primary therapist at another treatment center. He is a licensed clinical social worker with a master’s degree in social work from Barry University in Florida.
