Charlie is a family therapist for the Monarch Program on Caron's Florida campus, specializing in helping families navigate the complexities of mental health and substance use disorders. An EMDR-trained, trauma-informed clinician, Charlie focuses on strengthening supportive connections throughout the recovery process.
He provides family therapy, individual therapy, group facilitation, and education on substance use disorders and psychological resilience. He also supports families through case management and by recommending appropriate continuing care resources to ensure a strong foundation for long-term, sustainable recovery.
Before becoming a therapist, Charlie served as the clinical admissions supervisor for Caron Florida for two years, assisting families in identifying the best-fit treatment programs for their needs and goals. He originally joined Caron in 2017 as a counselor assistant at Ocean Drive.
Charlie earned his Master of Social Work from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Strayer University in Washington, DC.
