Cathy Marison’s responsibilities include paying staff efficiently and accurately, filing taxes, reconciling payrolls, gathering time reports, making sure time-off requests are approved, and processing additional requests and adjustments for payroll.

She appreciates that her role supports Caron’s mission and all of the employees who work in patient care. Cathy came to Caron in 2019 as a payroll administrator and was promoted to senior payroll administrator in 2021.

Before coming to Caron, Cathy worked for 20 years in payroll and accounting as a staff accountant at two accounting firms. In addition to companies and small businesses, Cathy also worked with nonprofit organizations, which gave her an understanding of Caron’s needs.

Cathy is an accountant and a certified payroll professional (CPP). She is also certified in computer networking. She studied accounting at Reading Area Community College, Pennsylvania.
