Carmela Bellocchio

In this role, she supports clients as they begin their recovery process, helping them and their family members work through the day-to-day process of building healthy lives in recovery and honest relationships with one another.

Through phone and video conference calls, Carmela coaches and advises her clients, cheering their successes and helping them meet the challenges that come their way with resources, monitoring, and coaching.

It’s gratifying to help them overcome their struggles and better understand what it takes to maintain a healthy life in recovery. Having had my own experiences with recovery, I can relate to what they are going through.

Prior to joining the My Recovery Connection (formerly called My First Year of Recovery Program), Carmela provided case management services to teens and adolescents with behavioral and mental health diagnoses in Philadelphia.

Carmela has a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology and is currently working on her master’s degree in social work at West Chester University.
