Her experience additionally includes working in intensive outpatient programs, crisis pregnancy centers, and non-profit work. She has received extensive training in Forward Facing Trauma Therapy, Gottman Couples Therapy, and Dignity Therapy. Alicia particularly enjoys working with clients through a systems lens, while keeping in mind the ways in which trauma, grief and loss, and attachment wounds shape adult relationships. She finds meaning and purpose in creating a space for Breakthrough participants to find healing in their early as well as present day relationships, which can also include healing the relationship that they have with themselves.
