The effects of addiction are intense and far-reaching. Just as addicted individuals suffer, families suffer from the deep-seated pain, stress, and turmoil that this powerful disease causes. For this reason, it is imperative that the whole family—not just the addicted individual—participates in comprehensive treatment.

At Caron, we value and nurture the family’s healing just as much as the patient’s. Not only that, we believe that the family’s active participation in treatment is necessary for everyone’s long-term recovery.

In keeping with our mantra, the family is the patient and the patient is the family , we involve family members throughout the treatment process. From admission to support after treatment, we provide opportunities and resources for families to participate in their loved one’s treatment. Not only that, we offer services specifically designed to meet family members’ needs as they work toward personal recovery.

Above all, we do everything we can to ensure that families understand the nature and consequences of addiction; develop new, healthy ways to manage anxiety; learn how to grow together in unity; and pursue personal healing and recovery.

To learn more about how Caron can be part of your family’s recovery journey, please contact admissions.
