Listening with Love

The Spiritual Practice of Connection

A Weekend of Spiritual Renewal Through Connection with our Higher Power, Ourselves, and One Another

Every meaningful relationship begins with listening.

Recovery invites us into a lifelong journey of connection—connection with our Higher Power, ourselves, and one another.

Join Caron's Spiritual Care and Alumni teams for a weekend of spiritual renewal designed to help you slow down, listen deeply, and experience the relationships that sustain recovery.

Rather than simply talking about connection, this retreat is intentionally designed for you to experience it. Through inspiring conversations, spiritual practices, creative expression, reflection, nature, fellowship, and authentic community, you'll discover new ways to deepen your spiritual life and carry those practices home.

Whether you're attending your first Spiritual Retreat or returning for another year, you'll find a welcoming community where every story is honored, every person belongs, and every step of your journey is valued.

FAQ

The Ramona's Family Spiritual Retreat is open to Caron alumni, family members, and friends of Caron who are seeking a weekend of spiritual renewal, reflection, and connection. Whether you're attending for the first time or returning, you'll find a welcoming community where everyone belongs.

No. This retreat welcomes people from all faith traditions, as well as those who simply wish to deepen their spiritual lives. Our focus is on the shared spiritual principles that support recovery, connection, and personal growth.

The weekend includes community gatherings, spiritual practices, reflective experiences, fellowship, outdoor activities, meals, and time for rest and personal reflection. While there is a schedule, we also value unhurried moments for conversation, connection, and simply being present.

Throughout the weekend, you'll have opportunities to participate in a variety of experiences centered around connection with our Higher Power, ourselves, and one another. Offerings may include prayer and meditation, creative arts, nature experiences, sound meditation, reflection, discussion, and other spiritually enriching activities.

Everyone shares in the opening and closing gatherings and community experiences. After you register, you'll receive additional information about selecting the spiritual practices and experiences you'd like to participate in during the weekend.

We recommend bringing comfortable clothing, walking shoes, a journal, weather-appropriate layers, toiletries, bedding and towels (for overnight guests), and anything that supports your personal spiritual practice.

A detailed packing list will be emailed to all registered participants before the retreat.

Absolutely. Whether you're early in recovery or have many years of sobriety, the retreat is designed to meet you where you are. The weekend offers opportunities for personal reflection, meaningful conversation, and connection with others on the recovery journey.

Yes. Commuter registration includes all programming, meals, and Sunday Chapel. Participants are responsible for arranging their own overnight accommodations if needed.

Rather than offering a series of stand-alone workshops, this retreat is designed as one shared spiritual journey. While you'll have opportunities to personalize portions of your experience, everyone gathers as one community to explore the theme Listening with Love through connection with our Higher Power, ourselves, and one another.

Our hope is that you'll leave not only refreshed and inspired, but with meaningful relationships and spiritual practices that continue to support your recovery long after the weekend ends.
