The Neil Lasher Music Fund at Caron Treatment Centers honors the legacy of music and recovery advocate Neil Lasher, who passed away in April 2020 from COVID-19 complications. Created by his partner Jill Jordon and managed by Caron, the Fund offers financial support for musicians, their families, and music-industry professionals seeking addiction treatment. It also enhances recovery services through music therapy—funding on-campus studios and certified therapists.

A respected record label and publishing executive, Neil was also a certified substance abuse counselor who dedicated his life to helping others. He worked closely with Caron and MusiCares, and played key roles at Caron NY—from serving on its advisory board (2007–2012) to co-chairing its annual gala (2012–2019), where he helped raise millions for treatment scholarships. A proud member of the music community, Neil remained sober for 32 years and was a trusted mentor to those in need of affordable addiction care.

Today, the Fund continues his mission—helping those who create music access quality addiction treatment when they need it most.

The Neil Lasher Music Fund consists of two funds: The Neil Lasher Scholarship Fund and the Neil Lasher Endowed Music Fund. As you make your donation, please add the fund you are supporting in the “Special instructions” section.
