Linda Caron Denby
Endowed Mission Fund

Linda Caron Denby, eldest daughter of Dick and Catherine Caron, was a tireless advocate for recovery, accessibility to treatment, family education and all of the dedicated staff here at Caron. Linda, living by example, reminded us that the past serves as an opportunity to inform the future and that investments in people lead to better outcomes. While often passing on the stories of Caron’s history and humble beginnings, Linda also served as a beacon of what might be. She offered hope to patients and families through support of Caron’s commitment to comprehensive treatment and healing, and celebrated Caron’s offering of spiritual care, alumni work, and family education. Linda was grace in action, making space for joy, grief, and healing, and always welcoming people as they were.

The Linda Caron Denby Endowed Mission Fund has been created to ensure that Linda’s legacy lives on through the services Caron offers patients, families, and communities. The Mission Fund supports access to care through financial aid, family education, spiritual care, alumni services, and investment in staff growth. This fund will ensure there is a sustained source of funding for mission-oriented programs and services that Linda so often spoke proudly of throughout the course of her leadership and service. This endowed fund was made possible through the tremendous outpouring of gifts made in Linda’s honor and will now be firmly established for any donor to contribute to for years to come.
