Caron believes it is imperative to engage an individual’s family from the onset of treatment.
Caron puts a major emphasis on treating the family as part of the treatment and recovery process. Family members are strongly encouraged to attend one of Caron’s family educational and therapeutic programs to learn about the disease of addiction and develop tools for their own recovery.
Family Programs are part of each of Caron’s comprehensive treatment programs for adolescents, young adults and adults. The programs help families and patients understand the emotional consequences of addiction, the recovery process, the impact of addiction on the family and how families get well.
