This program gave me the tools to live a happy, healthy and sober life. There’s a reason Caron stands apart and is a leading program in the treatment world. When I came to Caron Renaissance, I had no idea that I was taking the first steps towards a new life entirely. The confrontational therapy was crucial in my journey as I had adopted years of maladaptive behaviors in active addiction that would no longer serve me in recovery. The staff showed me how detrimental those habits are in sobriety and helped me gain the knowledge to change. Caron Renaissance does not just treat substance abuse but all the underlying behaviors that go along with it. Those underlying behaviors are just as important as treating the addiction. I wouldn’t be where I am today without Caron and I thank God I took suggestions and listened.

After over 20 years of trying to get sober on my own, I finally found Caron Treatment Center on March 2, 2021. That was the day my life and the life of my family began to change.

Once I left Magic Mountain a month later, I put into use everything I learned while in treatment. One of the most valuable pieces of advise was the importance of connection, building a community with others in recovery and the spiritual component of giving back what was so freely given to me.

Today, my life has purpose. I’m continuing to grow and learn…”One Day At A Time”.

I came to Caron broken, believing I could never be put back together to live a happy and fulfilling life. Caron provided me with the treatment and tools to begin healing from my addictions and love myself again. I am now leaving Caron with a clear head and full heart. I would recommend Caron to anyone struggling with drug and alcohol addiction. The mental health treatment from Caron also helped me tremendously in my recovery.

My initial thought of Caron Renaissance was that this center was like every other Rehab I have gone too. I am not too afraid to admit that I was wrong. The staff and therapists had closely watched me and brought to light a lot of things, stuff that I didn’t know I was holding onto. I finally had found a place where I can share my traumatic experiences and not be judged or to be looked at as “crazy”. I was able to break free from old habits and old way of thinking. Which lead me to being able to trust myself, along with for once in my life being able to look in the mirror and love the person staring back at me. I had accomplished a lot of things while being a patient at Caron Renaissance. I was able to rebuild relationships with my family and most importantly my daughters.

Caron is one of the top 5 addiction treatment center in the country, It is the “Cadillac” of the industry. –They are superior in terms of location. “Magic Mountain” is close to many major cities and airports in Eastern PA. The buildings are state of the art—-group rooms, lounges, lecture halls and dorm rooms. They have 3 cafeterias with a variety of foods. The personnel is stellar. if you want a clean, friendly, professional 28-day prog, along with after-care guidance, you would be wise to consider Caron. In addition, they now accept most insurance companies! If you want to get and stay sober, just show up with an open-mind and a willingness to work their program.

Addiction is a scary word when you are unaware of the situation, lack knowledge or know the full story. Our family fell victim to this scary disease. Scared, hopeless and very clueless, my husband entered rehab May 2022. Left behind with 2 young boys, I handed him over to this place in PA and prayed for the best. We were told "he was in the best hands." Guidance, feeling safe, and full of knowledge is how i feel today. Caron guided us in the right direction. Paved the path of success for my husband and our family. He spent 35 days at Caron and they became our family. They supported not only him but my boys and I. They opened our eyes to much more than a scary word. They made us feel hopeful. They made us feel safe. Caron was a stepping stone for my husband to overcome his addiction and learn all the proper tools to move forward in life when stepping back into the outside world. Caron also guided me and my family with family support groups and a family weekend so we also had the correct tools when coming back together. We wouldn't be where we are today without Caron. It takes teamwork! Happy to report my husband is 20 months sober today and an even better father, husband and friend than he was before! I am proud to call him my husband. Thank you, Caron!

I look back at my time at Caron as essential for my sobriety. I had no idea that Caron even existed. I was in the ICU and an addiction counselor came in to talk. She asked if I wanted help. I was in the hospital not from alcohol poisoning but because I had run my body so far down that my electrolytes crashed and I almost died. Did I want help...Absolutely! She said she would look into things and I was released from the ICU and went straight to Caron. That's enough of what brought me to Caron. You can speculate on the war stories. There are many. My survival since Caron is based on desire and the incredible education I received while a resident at Caron. I understand me so much more. I can recognize the symptoms of my addiction and I was given the tools to deal with them. The bonds with staff were great. I don't think I met anyone who didn't have my best interest in mind whether that was physically, emotionally, or spiritually. The best part of the experience was the friendships I made. I keep in touch with most of the guys I was "in" with. We encourage each other, talk, and laugh together just like we did at Caron. Those relationships are priceless. I strongly recommend Caron.
