Let Us Take It from Here

Addiction is progressive, chronic and life threatening. Addiction requires treatment from exceptional physicians, psychiatrists, and behavioral health experts, who are always there and fully focused on addressing every dimension of this disease.  Just as you would seek out the most highly qualified specialists to treat a heart condition, cancer, or other disease, it is critical to identify specialists with an exceptional level of expertise and experience for the treatment of addiction.

Caron delivers exactly that.  Our full-time, onsite world-class clinical team offers innovative therapies that support patients and families.  No other treatment provider offers our level of multi-dimensional specialization or commitment.  Take the first step and trust your care to Caron.  We are the treatment provider most qualified to take it from here.

World-Class Expertise

Caron’s industry-leading addiction treatment programs are developed and delivered by respected, highly credentialed medical, mental health and behavioral health experts.  Our team includes:

  • Medical specialists who are also Addiction Medicine Certified by the American Board of Addiction Medicine. This designation requires rigorous, advanced training in the treatment of addiction, and continuous education that keeps these specialists at the forefront of addiction knowledge, treatment and therapies.
  • Doctors with diverse medical specialties and exceptional credentials. Caron offers the advantage of leading doctors and clinicians who apply expertise in diverse medical disciplines to the treatment of addiction and its accompanying effects.   Our team includes respected surgeons and specialists in neurology, infectious disease, pain management, anesthesiology, internal medicine and more.
  • Physicians focused on holistic care. The Caron staff includes physicians who are doctors of osteopathic medicine.  Commonly referred to as D.O.’s, these doctors focus on treating the body as an integrated whole, rather than treating only specific symptoms.  This emphasis on whole-person care means that doctors of osteopathic medicine are trained to listen and partner with their patients to help them regain and sustain good health and overall wellbeing.
  • Psychiatrists, psychologists and therapists specializing in addiction. Treating the mind and spirit are essential to recovery, and the Caron team excels in this area.  Our team includes experts in mental health disorders, behavioral health issues, and related therapies, with specialized expertise in conditions and behaviors that are caused or complicated by addiction.

Industry Leadership

In addition, Caron clinicians are at the forefront of training the next generation of physicians, and involved in research partnerships focused on new treatment innovations.

  • Caron educates healthcare professionals, empowering them to understand and treat the disease of addiction. We partner with leading universities, such as Temple University Hospital, the Hospital at the University of Pennsylvania, Penn State Hershey and Southampton Hospital, and serve as an academic campus for training in addiction and behavioral health medicine.
  • Caron offers one of the nation’s only Addiction Medicine Fellowship programs, offering physicians comprehensive training and experiences in the physical and behavioral health aspects of addiction.
  • Through research partnerships and studies, Caron continuously works to innovate and enhance evidence-based practices in behavioral health and addiction treatment. Caron is currently part of a pioneering research partnership with the National Association of Addiction Treatment Providers (NAATP), focused on developing measurement standards and benchmarks for the efficacy of treatment. Data will be collected on factors that influence outcomes, including the detox process, patient engagement, medication, psychological and psychiatric care, education, addiction counseling, peer and family support, economics and twelve-step activity.
