In addition, they now accept most insurance companies! If you want to get and stay sober, just show up with an open-mind and a willingness to work their program.

On March 11, 2024, I will be celebrating my 40th year of sobriety, thanks to the wonderful staff and advisors at Caron, called " Chit- chat" when I was a resident there. I'd been in AA for a year but was unable to maintain my sobriety so decided to go to Wernersville. I still remember the day I arrived, and seeing that funny- looking old building on the hill and wondering if that place could help me get my life back.

As a middle- aged mother of three, I mainly drank alone, hiding my drinks in coffee cups and smuggling the bottles out in my needlework bag. Now, at 88, I just published my first novel and am working on my second. How can one possibly express gratitude for such a gift?
