Tamara Evans

Tamara Evans is a Primary Therapist providing individual therapy, facilitating groups, and coordinating with the family therapist to provide updates and services to families.

Her goal is to support clients in addressing the issues that block their ability to achieve their personal, relational, and professional goals and achieve satisfaction in their lives.

Giving her clients unconditional positive regard enables them to build their self-worth and empathy, key tools for emotional health and recovery. Tamara’s experience as a veteran, yoga teacher, and biology teacher has given her a range of skills to use to provide the best care for her clients.

Before coming to Caron in 2022, Tamara worked with veterans and first responders to address and resolve trauma. She specializes in trauma treatment and has worked as an EMDR provider as well as a primary therapist and group facilitator.

Tamara has a Master of Science in clinical mental health counseling from Nova Southeastern University, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and a Bachelor of Science in biology from Norwich University, a senior military college in Vermont. She is trained in eye movement desensitization reprocessing (EMDR) and the NeuroAffective Relational Model for treating complex trauma/PTSD.
