Nina Batista is a Primary Therapist at Caron Renaissance with experience working with individuals struggling with co-occurring disorders.
She utilizes various therapeutic interventions from a trauma informed lens such as CBT, Motivational Interviewing and Attachment theory to create an individualized treatment plan catered to her patients specific needs. Nina's goal is to assist patients in identifying and ultimately eliminating their maladaptive behaviors and assist them in developing a sense of self-worth that allows them to develop healthy interpersonal relationships, strengthen their family bonds and achieve their life goals.
Her technique provides a safe empathetic environment where patients can feel free to express themselves without judgement, while simultaneously providing them honest and direct feedback to assist in supporting their overall personal growth.
Nina has a Bachelors in Psychology and a Masters in Social Work from Florida Atlantic University. Nina is currently pursuing her Licensure in Clinical Social Work.
