Kim Civitarese is an Addiction Counselor providing individual and group therapy in the Women’s Program, a position she took on in 2016.
Her key goals are to build rapport with her patients so she can meet them where they are and build treatment plans based on their individual situations and strengths.
She came to Caron in 2005 and worked as a counselor assistant for two years with the adolescent male population. She then worked in the Family Education Department before becoming a counselor for teens and young adults in 2009.
Kim is a certified alcohol and drug counselor and is currently working on a master’s degree in clinical and mental health counseling at Kutztown University.
The work we do in the Women’s Program really does give women new lives. Treatment instills hope in what were hopeless situations.”
