As the Evening Shift Counselor Assistants Administrator, Joyelle Martin ensures the efficient delivery of consistent, high-quality patient care at the Ocean Drive clinical offices and residences.
Joyelle supervises the counselor assistants, ensuring staff and patients alike have the support they need for an optimal recovery environment. She also tracks medication protocols, updates patient status reports, and coordinates transportation schedules for patients to make their evening appointments and meetings.
Before taking this position in 2022, she was a lead counselor assistant at Caron Ocean Drive for three years. Joyelle worked in the restaurant industry prior to coming to Caron, giving her extensive experience in customer service, multi-tasking in stressful situations, and conflict de-escalation and resolution.
Joyelle has a Bachelor of Science in social work from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton and an Addiction Studies Certificate from Palm Beach State College. She is currently enrolled in a master’s program in social work, also at Florida Atlantic University, with the goal of becoming a therapist.
