Jennifer Marciano is the Regional Resource Director for New Jersey, providing individuals, families, and professionals with the information and resources they need to access substance use and behavioral health treatment.
Jennifer is eager to get acquainted with services available in New Jersey, having lived and worked in the region in years past. She consults with Caron’s substance use and behavioral health experts, collaborates with admissions staff to help people through the admissions process, and confers with case specialists to ensure that recovery plans are in place. In addition, she is actively connected to the Caron community, which widens the scope of her ability to help those looking for trusted and proven treatment resources.
As someone who has created connections and networks throughout her 11-year career in the behavioral health and medical fields, Jennifer enjoys building relationships that enable her to be an ethical, reliable, thoughtful, and trustworthy partner to substance use and behavioral health treatment professionals as well as a consultant to individuals and families in need of assistance. She makes use of her compassion, empathy, and expertise to listen closely to those seeking help in order to understand their needs and assist them in getting help to meet those needs.
Prior to taking on this role in 2021, Jennifer worked in business development in the behavioral health field. She also created and led a national education program for a non-profit hospice organization that educated hundreds of clinical and medical professionals in hospice care. She began her career in education as a high school counselor.
She has a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from California State University and a Master of Science in counseling from California Lutheran University. She has a credential in pupil personnel services (PPS).
