Since 2020, Gary Wood has served Caron Ocean Drive as its Executive Chef, helping to nurture patients with nutritious and delicious meals.
With more than 20 years of experience in restaurants and as a private chef, he has run many restaurants as Executive Chef and worked with his team to achieve local and national accolades in publications and 4-star reviews within the food industry and satisfied customers alike.
To advance to that level, he honed his skills and worked hard under great chefs in Napa Valley, San Francisco, New York City, and South Florida. Throughout his culinary career, he has learned how to prepare an impressive array of cuisine and continues to evolve his craft.
Gary graduated at the top of his class at Florida Culinary Institute in 1997 with a degree in culinary arts.
