Bethany Koch

Bethany Koch has been a Behavioral Health Therapist in the Opioid Treatment Program since 2018, providing individual and group therapy, family therapy, and education.

Using her training and education coupled with compassion and empathy, Bethany supports her patients as they come to realize that a healthy, happy life in recovery is possible.

Before joining the Opioid Treatment Program, Bethany was a therapist in the Men’s Program. She came in Caron in 2017.

Prior to Caron, she did an internship at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, working with young adults and adolescents with HIV and their families for a year.

Bethany is a licensed social worker and a certified advanced alcohol and drug counselor. She has a Master of Social Work and a Master of Education in human sexuality, both from Widener University. She also has Bachelor of Science in psychology from the University of Pittsburgh.

In this work, I get to watch patients open themselves to the possibilities that recovery offers as well as see the healing that takes place when family members have the expert support they need to come back together.”
