Did you know that in 2013 there were 43.8 million (18.5%) Americans aged 18+ who experienced a mental illness? Recovery Month is a time to raise awareness and end the stigma that often surrounds behavioral health issues. As a leading behavioral health and addiction treatment center, Caron strives to educate the public that treatment works and recovery is possible.
In line with the theme of this year’s Recovery Month, “Join the Voices for Recovery: Visible, Vocal, Valuable,” we are asking the public to help spread the word that regardless of what you’re suffering from – depression, anxiety, addiction, etc – treatment works and recovery is possible.
