couple consultationCaron understands that prevention and early intervention are key to addressing problematic substance use among youth. Our education team works with over 900 schools and child-serving organizations every year. However, there are a number of organizations who we are not able to serve due to limitations of geography and school budgets.

Through the generosity of a grant, Caron’s Education Department has been able to develop a digital learning format. We are excited that this new format will allow those previously unable to access our in-person programs to also benefit from our quality programming.

Our Digital Learning Program is a comprehensive library of courses centered on substance use disorder prevention, intervention, treatment, and recovery. Courses are designed for a variety of audiences including teens, parents/caregivers, and child-serving professionals.

  • Video
  • Animation
  • Audio narration
  • Interactive tools like pop-up screens and drag-and-drop questions
  • Knowledge checks
  • Certificates of completion

And, because the program is completely digital, participants can:

  • Complete programs at their location, eliminating the need to travel
  • Finish the programs at a time and pace that works best for them
  • Get the resources they need at no cost
  • Obtain knowledge and skills that will increase their confidence and competence in addressing a variety of topics surrounding the continuum of substance use from prevention to recovery
